In late October 2024, the Partner Language Training Center Europe (PLTCE) hosted the event, Leadership Discussions, for four BiH language school managers, three members of the BILC Secretariat, and two Croatian methodology subject matter experts. The Leadership Discussions included both a review and assessment of the 2024 Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) events for BIH, as well as a professional exchange and sharing of ideas on various topics, such as managing student throughput, supporting newly-hired instructors, and planning English instructors’ professional development. The Deputy Director of the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies, Tim McAteer (BGen, ret), welcomed the group and emphasized the importance of promoting language interoperability in NATO.
