IIn December 2025, the Partner Language Training Center Europe (PLTCE) hosted the NATO DEEP BiH Leadership Discussions for three Armed Forces BiH language school leaders, two members of the BILC Secretariat, and three leaders from the Croatian Foreign Language Center.
The purpose of the discussions was multipronged and included a review and assessment of the 2025 Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) events for BiH as well as a professional exchange and sharing on various topics, such as hiring practices, supporting newly hired instructors, and materials development. The Deputy Director of the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies, Tim McAteer (BG, ret), welcomed the group and emphasized the key role of language interoperability in NATO.
